Ceres Terminals Canada ULC operates as a stand-alone company in the Harbour Division of the NYK Group. Ceres is ISO 9001:2008 Certified in all of its Major Port Operations.

Cerescorp Company is an affiliate of the Ceres Terminals Canada ULC Group.

Cerescorp was awarded a multi-year contract from Port Metro Vancouver in January 2006, to operate the Port’s Canada Place and Ballantyne Cruise Terminals. Ceres manages all day-to-day operations including all administrative, facilities and security activities. We are also the stevedore contractor at both facilities. Vancouver is Canada’s largest and most diversified port and the primary home port for the Alaska cruises.

During the Cruise Season, Cerescorp will handle over 200 vessel calls by the world’s most luxurious and largest cruise ships and process over 600,000 passengers. By demonstrating a strong commitment to providing world-class passenger services and facilities for the Alaska cruise market, Ceres and its skilled labor force, continue to receive high satisfaction ratings from Port Officials, Cruise Lines and passengers for our performance levels.

January 2009 marked the expansion of Cerescorp’s operations into the Canadian roll-on roll-off transport market. With the arrival of the NYK RORO (roll-on-roll-off) vessel, Coral Leader, we commenced stevedoring on RORO vessels at Annacis Island. Cerescorp currently handles Subaru, Mazda and Suzuki OEM vehicles and a variety of used vehicles as well. Ceres also handles high and heavy equipment from NYK’s premier fleet of RORO vessels.

Building on Ceres’ 50 years of experience, safety and expeditious cargo handling in North  America, we had a smooth start to the RORO business in Vancouver. A passion for quality, efficiency, and zero damage is all part of the Cerescorp team effort in each segment of our RORO, Container and Cruise operations. This also reflects the close coordination and support among Ceres management, staff and labor.
