Western Stevedoring (established in 1948) is British Columbia’s largest and most diversified full-service stevedoring and terminal operator, and can be found in every port in the province. Over the last number of years, Western has grown, diversified and transitioned from primarily a stevedoring company to a fully integrated marine logistics company with over 1,200 employees, handling multiple commodities and operating in every port in BC.

Western Stevedoring is a wholly owned subsidiary of Seattle, Washington based Carrix/SSA Marine, the largest privately held terminal operating company in the western hemisphere. Lynnterm Terminal
Lynnterm (established in 1977) is a deep-water, breakbulk terminal centrally located in the Port of Vancouver. Lynnterm’s state-of-the art facility is recognized worldwide as a strategic hub and consolidation centre of forestry, steel, and general cargo imports and exports in Canada’s Pacific trade corridor.
Lynnterm is 80 acres (32 hectares) in size with over 650,000 square feet of warehouse space, four berths and is directly serviced by CN Rail (and interchange with all major railways).

Squamish Terminals
Squamish Terminals (established 1972), is a deep-water, breakbulk terminal located in Squamish, British Columbia, Canada. Squamish Terminals is situated at the north end of the Howe Sound; just 32 nautical miles north of the Port of Vancouver.
Squamish Terminals is a significant hub in the supply chain efficiently importing and exporting forestry, steel and general cargo to major markets worldwide. Squamish Terminals is directly serviced by CN Rail, has two berths, three warehouses, specialized handling equipment, an experienced work force and an intermodal transportation infrastructure (including rail, ocean and highway). Squamish Terminals provides proactive solutions, consistent performance, and quality service to its valued customers.

BC Vehicle Processing Center
The BC Vehicle Processing Centre (BCVPC) is located at the Nanaimo Port Assembly Wharf in Nanaimo, BC. BCVPC was established in partnership with the Nanaimo Port Authority and Transport Canada in 2018 and is the first and only Western Canadian entry point for vehicles to be brought by sea. BCVPC operates a facility that involves the processing of vehicles received by vessel and prepares them for delivery to auto dealerships throughout Western Canada. BCVPC is expected to process up to 10,000 vehicles annually, with the ability to expand. The team at the BCVPC is proud to call Nanaimo home.
Victoria Cruise Ship & Deep Water Terminal
Situated in Victoria, BC, Victoria Cruise Ship Terminal is Canada’s busiest destination port-of-call, with over 280 cruise ships visiting annually. Victoria Cruise Ship Terminal’s modern facilities offer a warm welcome to visitors of Victoria, the quaint capital of British Columbia.
Western Stevedoring operates Victoria Cruise Ship Terminal and coordinates cruise services as Agent/Manager for the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority.
Western Stevedoring is an active member of the Victoria Cruise Industry Alliance, to help convey the benefits of the cruise industry to the capital region.
