Christmas at Sea Appeal!

Join in on the joy in giving this season!

The thought of being at sea for Christmas likely doesn’t appeal to many of you and yet for seafarers it is a reality.

For the seafarers who find themselves in Vancouver we want to make sure that when away from home and family they have some joy and so we put together Christmas Gift Bags with items in them and distribute to the seafarers in port over the last two weeks of December esp. Christmas Eve. In 2022 we delivered 1500 gift bags to approx 70 ships.

You can see a picture from Christmas 2022 with this article of gifts being packed by volunteers and then delivered by the Chaplains to seafarers onboard a ship anchored in English Bay. 

What we are asking for is for the items to include the following;

TOQUES- (made or bought)

CHOCOLATE

TOOTHBRUSH

TOOTHPASTE

SOCKS

CANADIAN SOUVENIR (small)

We also with thanks will use donated $ to purchase what items we still need.
